Community Concerts

Old Stone Church

     The Branson Arts Council Community Concert Series will present the two Concerts of the session in December 2007.  On December 2nd, the College of the Ozarks will present its annual Hand Bell Choir and Chamber Chorale concert.  The Hand Belle choir just returned from a performance trip to Europe.   Remember, it starts at 3 PM, so that you can go straight from there to the Branson Adoration Parade in downtown Branson.  Plan to arrive early, this concert tends to be a full house. 

     December 9th at 2 pm, The Branson Brass will present their tribute to the Holidays and other favorites.  Artists featured are David Watz, Leon Bradley, Jim Moeskau, John Casebourn, and Joel Wiemken.  This performance is at 2 pm.  

     The concerts are fee and the public is invited to come see these talented local artists.  The Branson Arts Council, The Missouri Arts Council and the First Presbyterian Church of Branson sponsor these performances.

BRANSON ARTS COUNCIL ELECTS NEW OFFICERS

      October 17, 2007

       The Branson Arts Council Board of Directors elected new officers for the fiscal year of 2007/2008, Monday, October 1st, 2007. The officers will serve a one-year term. The newly elected officers are: President – Robert Cohn, Vice-President – Beverly Howard, Secretary – Barb Nygard, and Chief Financial Officer – Dawn Cleveringa. The board also welcomed new board member, Loann Barter, Jennifer Burrell and Jack Walker. Other members of the board include: Richard Hibben, Ladona Johnson, Lana Johnson-Nichols, Jim Rodgers, Arlene Schaefer, Stormy Lynn Snow, Marguerite Steffen, and Jon Thompson. Bonnie Herrmann serves as Executive Director.
